    Description

Camphor Glass Taille d’epargne Necklace. This necklace is an Edwardian/Art Deco triumph that combines the sunray-like beauty of camphor glass with the Victorian technique of taille d'epargne enameling. The pendant features a center crystal or rhinestone imbedded in the camphor glass and a repousee surround accented with black enamel. The 1" pendant is attached to round crystal bale attached to a larger filigree piece in almost a bird-like shape set off by 2 more round crystals to produce an overall hang of 1.5". The pendant is attached to a delicate 16" rope chain with 2 more round crystals at stations. The pendant and chain tests for 10k, but may be heavy gold-fill.
