VINTAGE 40's ART METALCRAFT HAMMERED COPPER HAWAIIAN FISHING NET LADY DECO FRAME

Vintage hammered, embossed copper Hawaiian art that is reminiscent of WWII trench art popular among G.I.'s in the 40's. Framed in a sturdy awesome deco, m.c.m. double strand faux rattan frame. The copper art features a Hawaiian lady weaving or repairing a fish net. Very similar to Frank McIntosh Matson line menus from the 40's. Complete with Flying Fish, Angel Fish and marine life. Fabulous aged copper with her hand tinted black hair, red flowers and lei. Outer frame is 18"x20", inner frame is 11 1/2"x13 1/4". Excellent condition with one small ding on her left arm that could be taken out with removal of the backing if desired. Label on back reads "Art Metalcraft. A Hand Painted Hollywood Creation".
